Over the years, Dillon Francis has proved to be one of the most versatile artists in dance music. In early July, the Los Angeles native dropped a radio-friendly single featuring reggaeton veteran De La Ghetto titled “Never Let You Go.” Now, Francis returns with a gift to the DJ community: a new track called “LFGD,” which was included in his Moombahton Mix, and a four-track DJ pack. All five are available to download exclusively on DJcity.
The DJ pack contains a VIP remix of Francis’ remix of Cardi B’s summer smash, “I Like It,” along with the instrumentals of his singles “Ven” featuring Arcangel and Quimico Ultra Mega; “BaBaBa” featuring Young Ash; and “Look at That Butt” featuring Jarina De Marco. The vocal versions of latter three will appear on Francis’ upcoming Spanish-language album, WUT WUT.

Dillon Francis has recruited Bronx-based vocalist Young Ash for a new moombahton single titled “BaBaBa (Vete Pa’Ya).” The track is the third release from his forthcoming Spanish-language studio album.
Francis described his inspiration for the song in the press release:
“For my album, I really wanted to make a song reminiscent of ‘Que Que,’ but an elevated version of it that was fun yet tough sounding. Young Ash’s flow on this is exactly that. It’s truly one of my favorite tracks from the project. Her voice is so strong and striking which makes for such an incredible gritty moombahton song.”
The new single has also received an accompanying stop-motion vertical video. Directed by Joel Strong, the visual shows cardboard cutouts of Francis and Ash being moved around by human hands.
“BaBaBa (Vete Pa’Ya)” follows Dillon’s singles “Ven” featuring Arcangel and Quimico Ultra Mega and “We The Funk” featuring Fuego. Dillon’s Spanish album, which remains unnamed, will be released later this year via his independent record label, IDGAFOS.

Though he gained fame by producing moombahton, Dillon Francis has never limited himself to one style. Now, the Los Angeles native has made a foray into Latin trap with his new single, “Ven.” The track features reggaeton icon Arcangel and Dominican rapper Quimico Ultra Mega.
Recorded in the Dominican Republic, “Ven” is the first track from Francis’ upcoming Spanish-language album due out in spring. The project will be executive produced by Toy Selectah, a former member of the groundbreaking Mexican hip-hop group, Control Machete.
“We decided to do some crazy club sh#t,” Francis said in the press release. “You don’t have to understand a word of the verses, because that drop is like the universal New York anthem — whether you’re American or Dominican. You could hear it on the dance floor and just not give a f*** what anyone thinks.”
