GTA and Jenn Morel have shared a humorous video for their Latin-influenced dance single, “Buscando.” The visual finds Jenn dancing and playing in her backyard while GTA bring along their dogs.

Released on Mad Decent, “Buscando” is the first release off GTA’s forthcoming EP titled La Nueva Clasica.

Jenn recently signed with UMLE through a joint venture between Aftercluv and Universal Music Latino.

GTA Remixes Diplo & Alvaro’s ‘6th Gear’

Earlier this week, Mad Decent released a collection of remixes for Diplo and Alvaro’s trap heater, “6th Gear.” One of the standout tracks from the EP is by Miami’s dynamic duo, GTA, who are known for their bass-heavy productions and “death to genres” motto. While their remix maintains the original vibe, it also adds more energy and an even harder drop.

GTA Discusses the Influence of Latin Music on Their Sound

Miami-based GTA have developed a reputation in recent years for producing genre-defying bangers which include hit collaborations with Diplo and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.

The duo sat down with GRAMMY Pro at this year’s Lollapalooza to discuss how they met, their creative process, how their Latin heritage has shaped their sound, and more.

“We’re both of Latino descent … we kind of grew up with our parents and our grandparents listening to old salsa records and a lot of old records our grandparents would show us. Growing up listening to that, and kind of loving it, it makes us love organic drums and a lot of African rhythms and stuff like that.” — Matt Toth, GTA

TJR & GTA Perform B2B Set at Mixmag Lab

Last weekend, we saw bounce ambassador TJR tear it up at the Mad Decent Block Party in what was one of the best performances of the day. We also caught rising duo GTA deliver an impressive and versatile set at Warner Bros Records’ headquarters earlier this summer. Needless to say, when we found out they both did a B2B set at Mixmag Lab in Los Angeles on Thursday, we had to watch the video. While both are known for serving up hard-hitting and bass-heavy tracks, TJR and GTA have different styles so their B2B covered plenty of ground.

GTA Remixes Destructo’s ‘Party Up’ ft. YG

Following their signing with Warner Bros Records back in June, Miami-based duo GTA has unleashed a bass-heavy rework of Destructo’s innovative track featuring YG. GTA’s take on the g-house anthem is something different, as it brings the original from 122 to 130 BPM and adds new vocal samples and drum patterns.
