Adele’s ‘When We Were Young’ Gets House Remix From DiscoTech

After dropping a “Midnight” remix of Adele’s “When We Were Young” last week, DiscoTech has returned with a “2AM” version of the track. The duo’s 128 BPM rework is an upbeat, house remix of the singer’s ballad.
 
“When We Were Young” is Adele’s second single from her third album, 25. Although it’s not yet as popular as “Hello,” the song has charted on Billboard’s Hot 100 for nine weeks, peaking at number 22.

Our Top 5 Favorite Remixes of Adele’s ‘Hello’

After suffering from writer’s block for three years, Adele has returned to the spotlight with her record-breaking single, “Hello.”
 
Last week, the song’s video became the first ever to receive over 27.7 million Vevo views within 24 hours, beating Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood.” It then became the fastest video to hit 100 million views, second only to PSY’s “Gentleman.” Furthermore, “Hello” is now the first song to sell over a million digital sales in a week, a notable achievement in a struggling industry.
 
But despite all the acclaim and accolades, “Hello” is a somber ballad without percussion, meaning that most DJs won’t play it in the club. Thankfully, though, dozens of remixes have already hit the web. Check out our favorites below, which range from trap to big room.

WiDE AWAKE Drops Trap Remix of Adele’s ‘Hello’

UK DJ/producer duo WiDE AWAKE has released a remix of Adele’s smash single “Hello.” Clocking in at 70 BPM, the rework maintains Adele’s soulful vocals but adds a hard-hitting trap drop alongside the chorus.
 
The music video for “Hello” has broken two records so far. First, it beat out Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” for most-viewed video on YouTube in 24 hours, and now the ballad is the second fastest video to reach 100 million views, behind PSY’s “Gangnam Style.” The single is also on track to sell one million copies in its first week.
