Toronto’s ESP Drops ‘DJcity Podcast’ Mix
ESP.
Toronto-based DJ/producer ESP has delivered an eclectic and energetic mix for the DJcity Podcast. His half-hour set was recorded in one take and features a number of funky, bass-heavy remixes alongside his own productions.
ESP has made a name for himself throughout his city with his Afternoon Delight party series. He can also be caught dropping sets regularly on his Twitch channel.

Snoop Dogg Buys Death Row Records
In 1993, Snoop Dogg dropped his debut album Doggystyle on Death Row Records. Nearly 30 years later, the iconic West Coast rapper and entrepreneur has bought the label, which had been owned by MNRK Music Group (formerly eOne Music).
Co-founded by Suge Knight and Dr. Dre in the early ’90s, Death Row has been home to iconic hip-hop artists like 2Pac, Dre, and Snoop.
Snoop said in a statement:
“I am thrilled and appreciative of the opportunity to acquire the iconic and culturally significant Death Row Records brand, which has immense untapped future value … It feels good to have ownership of the label I was part of at the beginning of my career and as one of the founding members. This is an extremely meaningful moment for me.”
In 2021, Beatsource teamed up with Death Row and JetPack to design a limited edition DJ bag in celebration of the label’s 30th anniversary. Watch the unboxing video below and order the bag here.

DJ Rebel Remixes Black Eyed Peas’ ‘Shut Up’: DJcity Exclusive
Belgian DJ/producer DJ Rebel is back with a house remix of Black Eyed Peas‘ 2003 international hit, “Shut Up.” In 2020, Rebel and partnered with Los Angeles-based vocalist Joelii for a DJcity Records’ release titled, “Rivales.”
Regarding his latest remix, Rebel says, “I wanted to take these classic vocals and create a funky/tech house remix, one of those records that really can get the party started no matter where you’re DJing. Hope everyone likes it!”
