Watch: Damianito Drops Mix at Serato’s London Studio

Following his appearance on DJcity’s MikiDZ Show, Red Bull Music 3Style world champ Damianito threw down a mix at Serato’s London studio.

The DJcity Italy representative blends hip-hop, dancehall, house, rock, and more in the 21-minute mix. He also incorporates scratching, tone play, and even a talk box routine.

On this episode of DJcityTV’s Fresh Press, Battle Avenue director Antriks reviews his own seven-inch, Fresh Press’d. Released through At The Ave Records, Fresh Press’d features six skipless scratch sentences by Antriks and two beats by UK producer SlopFunkDust.

Destructo and Friends to Perform on ‘MikiDz Show’

Destructo

Legendary DJ/producer/concert promoter Destructo is set to appear on DJcity’s MikiDz Show live stream on Monday, July 23. He will be joined by two special guests.

A 20-plus-year veteran, Destructo is best-known for founding HARD Events, which operates popular dance music festivals such as HARD Summer, HARD Halloween, and Holy Ship!

In 2017, he left HARD and joined the event production company LiveStyle where he launched a new festival, All My Friends. His appearance on the MikiDz Show will come just weeks before the inaugural All My Friends festival on August 18 and 19.

As a producer, Destructo has made a name for himself as one of the leaders of g-house, a genre that blends hip-hop and house music. He’s collaborated with veteran rappers like E-40, Busta Rhymes, and Yo Gotti, along with newer rappers such as Ty Dolla $ign, YG, and Freddie Gibbs.
