SpydaT.E.K to Perform on DJcity’s ‘MikiDz Show’ Live Stream

DJcity’s MikiDz Show live stream will be back on Monday, June 24 with Las Vegas-based DJ/producer SpydaT.E.K It will follow a record-breaking episode with house legends Bad Boy Bill and Richard Vission.

A native of Los Angeles, SpydaT.E.K hosts a weekly show on SiriusXM’s Globalization channel called Globalization Sessions. The show, which airs Mondays at 8 p.m. PT, has featured guests like Henry Fong, Dave Nada, and DJ Puffy.

As a producer, SpydaT.E.K has released tracks on Mad Decent and OWSLA, garnering support from the likes of Major Lazer, DJ Snake, and Alison Wonderland. He also contributes exclusive remixes to DJcity.

The MikiDz Show is hosted by MikiWAR and DJ Dainjazone and includes an opening set from DJ Rell. Watch it at 7 p.m. PT on DJcity’s website.

Applications Open for Red Bull 3Style X World Championship

Applications for the Red Bull 3Style X World Championship are now open. DJs from around the world have until June 30 to apply for a chance to compete at the world finals in Moscow.

To enter, record a five-minute routine and upload it on 3Style’s website. The competition rules can be found here.

Numark Announces New Mixer, the ‘Scratch’

Numark has announced the “Scratch,” an affordable two-channel mixer designed to work with Serato DJ Pro.

The Scratch features a mini Innofader crossfader, hardware filters, and other pro features like XLR main outs and a dedicated booth output.

The Scratch unlocks the full DVS functionality of Serato DJ Pro. Four performance pads deliver hot cue triggering, loop rolls, and access to the SP8 sampler. A pair of loop encoders can also be used to select and load tracks. Additionally, the Scratch offers instant access to six effects in Serato DJ Pro, trigged by two-way paddle switches.

Although the Scratch was just announced, it is available in stores now, priced at $499.
