Jon1st and Shield Perform Live Turntablism/Production Set at ADE 2019

British turntablists/producers Jon1st and Shield have dropped a live performance video from Amsterdam Dance Event 2019. The set was recorded for the DJsounds series, Pioneer DJ‘s inside look at the global DJ scene.

The duo’s live set involves breaking down the elements of their original tracks and recreating the beats live, incorporating turntablism elements as well. They use a variety of equipment including turntables, drum machines, samplers, and sequencers.
