‘R.O.A.D. Podcast’: DJ E-Man on Why He Decided to Stay at Power 106 After Big Boy’s Departure

On the latest installment of the R.O.A.D. Podcast, the crew spoke to Power 106‘s program director, DJ E-Man. The Los Angeles radio legend shared his reasons for not leaving Power 106 after his long time collaborator, Big Boy, left the station in 2015.

E-Man also explained why he decided to ban Chingy‘s music from Power 106 after a hostile encounter with the rapper and how Nick Cannon ended up taking over The Morning Show.

Mr. Vegas’ ‘Heads High’ Remixed by Richastic: DJcity Exclusive

Following up on the success of his DJcity Records release “Shy Guy,” Richastic has delivered a remix of Mr. Vegas‘ dancehall classic “Heads High.” The track is available exclusively on DJcity.

Originally released in 1998, “Heads High” was the title track to Mr. Vegas’ debut album. The album reached No. 5 on Billboard’s Reggae Albums chart in 1999. “There is no better time to remix this song,” Richastic says. “‘Heads High’ and never give up, the best we can do in these hard times.”

Richastic’s dancehall-inspired “Shy Guy” recently reached the top spot on DJcity’s Hot Box chart. The track is an update of Jamaican singer Diana King‘s 1995 hit and features Mr. Stylez and Frankie Balou.
