Thombs, Vela, and MAG Drop Latin Pop Track ‘Al Ritmo De La Noche’ on DJcity Records

Thombs, Colombian DJ/producer and director of DJcity Latino, has teamed up with co-producer MAG and vocalist Vela for DJcity Records’ latest release, “Al Ritmo De La Noche.” The track is a refreshing guaracha-style pop song with a pulsing four-on-the-floor rhythm.

As a producer, Thombs has already made a name for himself in the dance music world. Some of his previous tracks have hit the Billboard charts, been licensed for video games and fitness classes, and been supported by artists like Diplo, Skrillex, and Dillon Francis.

It is available in sweatshirts and t-shirts in multiple colors. We are also including a tonal “DJcity Basics” hoodie and jogger combination in four different colorways. On last week’s episode of the R.O.A.D. Podcast, the crew sat down with DJ Icy Ice of the World Famous Beat Junkies. The legendary Los Angeles DJ explained the obstacles he experienced as an Asian DJ trying to enter the LA nightclub scene in the 90s.

DJ Ice Ice also spoke about starting the first Asian hip-hop party in Los Angeles called “The Source.”

Dallas, Texas’ DJ Spadus follows up his 2020 Bedroom Sessions routine with a bass-heavy mix for the DJcity Podcast. His 30-minute set combines hip-hop bangers with funky house tracks.

Spadus is a resident at Public House in Denton, Texas. Prior to COVID, he hosted the monthly #RNBBasementParty in Denton and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, which he has since shifted to Twitch. He also works with Been iLL, an artist collective promoting the new wave of conscious hip-hop.
