DJames’ Top 5 Carnival Picks 2017
As Notting Hill Carnival weekend is approaching, DJames has teamed up with DJcity to give us his top 5 carnival picks for 2017. Here’s what DJames had to say: “With Notting Hill Carnival around the corner, check out my 5 favourite tracks to add to your crates this weekend!”
Ultimate Rejects – Full Extreme – DJames Edit
Early 90’s soca vibes on this one from the crew that fuse the sounds of the Caribbean with EDM.
Freezy – Split in Di Middle – DJames Edit
This one has taken a while to really break through, but it’s been huge at every carnival this year.
Konshens – Pull Up To Mi Bumper – DJames Moskato Riddim Edit
For me, the biggest riddim of the past few years blended with a vocal that never fails in the club.
Orange Hill – Wine De Best 2017
DJcity exclusive! New one from my team Orange Hill alongside the boss Ras Kwame and some heavyweight features.
RDX – Shake Your Bam Bam – DJames Acap Intro
This Stalag riddim has been reworked so many times but I’m really feeling this version from RDX!
