Waka Flocka Flame Explains How He Got Into EDM

Waka Flocka Flame is one of the few rappers who’ve successfully crossed over into the EDM world. With club favorites such as Borgore’s “Wild Out,” Steve Aoki’s “Rage The Night Away,” and Flosstradamus’ “TTU (Too Turnt Up),” Waka has not only proved that he’s serious about electronic music, but that his high-energy style lends itself to the genre.
 
In a recent interview with Complex, the Atlanta rapper discussed how he got into EDM, his relationship with Gucci Mane and his involvement in world issues. Waka also revealed that he’s working with Dillion Francis, Steve Aoki, Boys Noize, Stafford Brothers, and others on his upcoming album Turn Up God.

Israeli DJ/producer Borgore has unleashed entertaining visuals for his track “Wild Out,” featuring rapper Waka Flocka Flame and British singer Paige. The music video not only sells the track but also their live show, which as the video depicts is far from typical. Dim Mak’s Steve Aoki also makes a cameo.
