Post Malone has dropped a gory video for his hit single “rockstar” featuring 21 Savage. The track, which has been No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart for six consecutive weeks, is the lead single off Malone’s upcoming album, Beerbongs & Bentleys. The track was DJcity’s third most downloaded song of September.

The much-anticipated video features sword fighting, blurry visuals, and plenty of blood.

A-Trak Breaks Down His ‘rockstar’ Routine

A-Trak

After giving fans a look at how he produces, A-Trak has shared how he constructs a routine.

In the 12-minute video, the Fool’s Gold chief breaks down his flip of Post Malone and 21 Savage‘s smash hit, “rockstar.” A-Trak talks through his ideas and works them out live on the tables. In the end, he performs his finished routine.

“I wanted to share more than the final flips of these songs,” the Montreal native said in a Facebook post. “I wanted to start sharing the creative process, as I come up with the patterns and how the ideas come together.”

Post Malone’s “rockstar” has remained atop Billboard’s Hot 100 for a fifth consecutive week. The track, which was certified double platinum on Tuesday, was DJcity’s 3rd most-downloaded song of September.

Rising hip-hop producer Tank God has explained how he made Post Malone’s hit single “rockstar” featuring 21 Savage on a new episode of Genius’ Deconstructed. The track currently sits at No. 2 on Billboard’s Hot 100, becoming Post’s highest charting single to date.

Tank discusses that he made the beat while taking a break from studying for finals in December 2016. He then recalls his chance encounter with Post later on while at a studio session in New York City. Tank goes on to break down “rockstar” in FL Studio.

The track, which was DJcity’s third most downloaded song of September, is the first single from Post’s forthcoming second studio album, Beerbongs & Bentleys. “Rockstar” broke Apple’s single-week streaming record with 25 million plays.
