Madonna’s ‘La Isla Bonita’ Remixed by Mr. M!X: DJcity Exclusive

Mr. M!X, a 20-year-old DJ/producer from the Netherlands, has served up a moombahton remix of Madonna‘s Latin-influenced hit, “La Isla Bonita.” The track is available exclusively on DJcity.

M!X is signed to Deckstar NL, the Netherlands division of the renowned Deckstar management company. His remixes have been supported by the likes of Major Lazer and Kris Kross Amsterdam.

Madonna Re-Records Song for Diplo

Earlier today a video surfaced of Diplo playing BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac a custom version of Madonna’s “La Isla Bonita,” which mentions Diplo’s group Major Lazer.
 
“Last night I dreamt of Major Lazer,” Madonna sings in the re-recorded 1987 hit.
 
Apparently, the pop singer recorded the dubplate while working in the studio with Diplo on her upcoming album. He revealed the version during an episode of the British series “Superstar DJs,” which premieres tomorrow on BBC’s Channel 4.
