Chicago’s regional Red Bull 3Style champion Boi Jeanius sat down with the R.O.A.D. Podcast last week. During the convo, Jeanius explained how the racial division and prejudice in Chicago inspired his popular Cumbia and Hip-Hop remixes.

Boi Jeanius also broke down the importance of the late great DJ Timbuck2 to the city of Chicago.

Watch Big Once Pay Tribute to DJ Timbuck2


 
Last Wednesday, friends and fans gathered to celebrate the life of the late DJ Timbuck2 in Chicago. The tribute concert featured some of Chi-Town’s best DJs, including former Red Bull Thre3style US Champ, Big Once, whose set is now available on YouTube.
 
Timothy Francis Jones, better known as DJ Timbuck2, lost a battle with cancer on December 19 at the age of 34-years-old. Timbuck2 had worked with Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, Common, Jay Z and many more.
