Watch OMI Perform ‘Cheerleader’ on BBC Radio 1Xtra

Jamaican singer OMI recently performed his reggae-pop hit “Cheerleader” on BBC Radio 1Xtra’s “Live Lounge.”

A remix of the song by German DJ/producer Felix Jaehn has gone number one in over a dozen countries and is quickly gaining momentum in the US.

Last week, Shazam’s VP of Product Cait O’Riordan said that “Cheerleader” will be Billboard’s next number one hit. Billboard’s data supports the prediction, too, as the track has jumped from number 95 to number 63 in just two weeks on the Hot 100 chart.

ZHU Teases New Music in ‘Cocaine Model’ Video

It’s been nearly a year since we’ve heard new music from ZHU, the mysterious DJ/producer behind last year’s hit, “Faded.” The forward-thinking artist hasn’t disappeared though, and today released a video for “Cocaine Model,” a chilled-out track off his The Nightday EP. Aside from the interesting visuals, the video also contains a short preview of what’s assumed to be new music from ZHU. The track appears at the 4:20-minute mark.

But wait, there’s more — legendary BBC Radio 1 host Pete Tong announced yesterday that ZHU will make his debut on the “After Hours” mix this Friday, May 15. There’s a good chance his set will include unreleased material, possibly even the track teased in the video above.

Kid Impersonates Mystikal in Hilarious ‘Feel Right’ Video

Mark Ronson and Mystikal have performed “Feel Right” on various TV shows over the last month, and we expected to see the veteran rapper do the same in the music video. Such is not the case though, as today the two dropped hilarious visuals for the funky single that features a group of children impersonating Mystikal and the band. We’re not sure if the kid lip synching to Mystikal can actually rap or sing, but his stage presence is clearly off the charts.
