LUV Delivers ‘DJcity Podcast’ Mix


LUV.

Jersey City-based LUV has delivered her debut mix for the DJcity Podcast. In her half-hour set, she reps her city’s rich history of club music and pays tribute to one of Jersey Club’s pioneers, the late DJ Tim Dolla.

LUV, is a DJ, curator, event producer and community organizer. She has opened for notable artists like A-Trak and Sango, performed on national comedy tours, and worked with brands like Nike, Puma, and Bose. She can be heard on her weekly mix show which airs on MYX Global and Dash Radio.

Download Angelo Flow and Lisa Mercedez’ ‘Solo Tu’ on DJcity

Candela Records, a newly-formed UK-based Latin music label, has dropped its first release, “Solo Tu” (Only You). Featuring Venezuelan-born reggaeton artist Angelo Flow and Jamaican dancehall artist Lisa Mercedez, the reggaeton/dancehall/afrobeats club banger is a feel-good celebration of London’s diversity and Caribbean culture, with a new twist.

2022 Beyond the Music Retreat Recap

The 2022 Beyond the Music Retreat was one for the books. The educational conference for DJs, which took place from June 13-15 in Arizona, was attended by hundreds of DJs from around the world and featured a variety of discussion panels and networking events.
