Red Bull 3Style has chosen DJs JENEE HANAKO, REDEF, Bigmaster, Y-KI, Spray, and Emess to compete at the South Korea national finals.

The competition will take place at Soap Seoul on Oct. 14.

This is part of a series of daily announcements in which DJcity will reveal the participants for each competing country.

Watch Bruno Mars’ ‘Versace On The Floor’ Video

Nearly nine months after the song was released, Bruno Mars has shared the video for his slow jam single “Versace On The Floor.”

Directed by Bruno and Cameron Duddy, the neon-lit visual shows him serenading singer and actress Zendaya from a room next door. Fittingly, both are wearing Versace, with Zendaya’s dress eventually hitting the floor.

“Versace On The Floor” is the third single off Bruno’s double platinum-selling studio album, 24K Magic. The song peaked at No. 46 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and was DJcity’s 18th most downloaded track of November 2016. In June, David Guetta dropped a remix of the song.

Rane Announces SEVENTY-TWO Mixer and TWELVE Controller

After weeks of leaks and speculation, Rane has announced two new products: the SEVENTY-TWO mixer and the TWELVE controller. They are the first products the company has announced since its acquisition by industry giant inMusic in 2016.

The SEVENTY-TWO is a two-channel battle mixer which features a pair of USB ports, and a 4.3-inch color touch screen. The screen shows Serato DJ’s moving waveforms and cue points and enables track browsing and loading. It also controls the mixer’s two internal FX engines as well as software FX.

In terms of build, the SEVENTY-TWO retains the solid steel construction of previous Rane mixers. It also includes the company’s new Mag Three contactless tension-adjustable technology for both the crossfader and upfaders. A set of 16 MPC-style performance pads offers a host of different modes and allows independent controls for each deck.

TWELVE Controller

The TWELVE is a 12-inch motorized platter controller for Serato DJ. It was designed to offer DJs the comfort and precision of vinyl control without skipping needles or feedback issues. The TWELVE is laid out exactly like a traditional turntable for a familiar experience but connects directly to a computer via USB.

The TWELVE features a touch strip for track scrubbing, which can also be switched to control cue points. It has a selectable pitch range, as well as 33 1/3 and 45 rpm speed options, and a rotary motor-off switch to emulate powering down a regular turntable. Each TWELVE can control up to four virtual decks in Serato DJ via a selection switch, and up to four units can be used simultaneously with the software.

It has a 5.0 kfcm high-torque motor with an optional lower torque setting for a more classic feel, and 3,600 ticks of platter resolution for high performance.

Although there are dedicated ports for the TWELVE on the SEVENTY-TWO mixer, the controller can be used with any Serato DJ hardware.

The SEVENTY-TWO and TWELVE are set to have a street price of $1,899 and $799 USD, respectively. Both products are due to ship in Q4 2017.

Watch Fat Joe’s ‘So Excited’ Video Feat. Dre

Fat Joe recreates The Notorious B.I.G.’s iconic “Hypnotize” video in the visual for his new Dre-assisted single, “So Excited.” The action-packed clip shows Joe and his crew speeding around Miami in a yacht and luxury cars.

The song, which is currently No. 1 on the DJcity Hot Box, is expected to appear on Joe’s forthcoming eleventh studio album, The Book of Joe.

Not to be confused with Dr. Dre, the Dre featured on “So Excited” is one-half of the production team of Cool & Dre. The duo’s productions include DJ Khaled and Drake’s “To the Max” and Fat Joe and Remy Ma’s comeback hit “All the Way Up” featuring French Montana.

Viral Video Star DJ Misbehaviour Interviewed by Hot 97

If you follow DJs on social media, chances are you’ve come across a viral video of DJ Misbehaviour in the past couple of weeks. The four-minute video, which shows the 28-year veteran DJ rocking a crowd in New York City, has amassed 21 million views on Facebook since it was uploaded. Now, the London native has recently stopped by Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning show for an extensive chat.

In addition to discussing going viral, Misbehaviour shared how she got started as a DJ, her thoughts on female DJs, what it’s like to be stereotyped, and the differences between the U.K. and U.S. club scene and culture.
