Watch Skratch Bastid Perform a Routine Using N.E.R.D.’s ‘Lemon’ Feat. Rihanna

Skratch Bastid has shared a quick routine using N.E.R.D.‘s new single “Lemon” featuring Rihanna. The track, which was released early this month, is currently No. 3 on DJcity’s Hot Box and No. 65 on Billboard’s Hot 100.

“Lemon” is N.E.R.D.’s first release in seven years. The group’s last album, Nothing, was released in 2010.

A former four-time DMC USA champion, Precision gets busy with classics like The Notorious B.I.G.‘s “Juicy,” Lauryn Hill‘s “Doo Wop (That Thing),” OutKast‘s “The Whole World,” and Prodigy’s “Keep it Thoro.”

Watch: ‘Avengers’ Composer Brian Tyler Talks Film Scoring and DJing

Award-winning film composer and conductor Brian Tyler a.k.a. Madsonik has not only scored blockbuster hits, but he has also made a name for himself as a DJ/producer. In addition to composing for films like Avengers: Age of Ultron, Thor: The Dark World, and Furious 7, Tyler has also collaborated with artists like Wiz Khalifa, Rae Sremmurd, Ty Dolla $ign, and Kill The Noise.

In a video by software maker Output, Tyler shows off his home studio and reveals his creative process for scoring films, which includes using his DJ skills (skip to the 6:50 mark).

DJ Chris Brown, an open-format DJ and turntablist based in St. Louis, has dropped a half-hour mix for the DJcity Podcast. His set, which features mostly hip-hop, house, and Caribbean-influenced tracks, includes six his own edits and bootlegs.

A native of Chicago, Brown was a competitor in the 2015 Red Bull 3Style Kansas City Qualifier.
