Migos Team With Marshmello for New Single and Video, ‘Danger’

Migos have teamed with Marshmello for a new trap single, “Danger.” The track is a departure from Marshmello’s usual future bass sound.

“Danger,” which was released on Thursday with an accompanying video, appears on the soundtrack for the Netflix original movie Bright starring Will Smith.

Bright will be released on Netflix on Dec. 22. The soundtrack, which is out now, features a few more unlikely collaborations like A$AP Rocky and Tom Morello, and DRAM and Neil Young.

DJ K-Swizz competes at the IDA World DJ Championships in Kraków, Poland on Dec. 2, 2017.

The IDA World DJ Championships went down in Kraków, Poland on Saturday, Dec. 2. New Zealand’s DJ K-Swizz won the Technical category, Belgium’s The Mixfitz took the Show category, and Poland’s DJ Pan Jaras was crowned winner of the Scratch category.

At just 14 years old, K-Swizz is now the youngest turntablist to win the IDA. He posted the following message on Instagram after the battle:

“I’ve been entering dj battles & battling men since I was 10yrs old, 4yrs later I’m here & very thankful… this year I placed 5th for @dmc_world online finals, made the top 6 for @goldieawards world final in Brooklyn New York, I didn’t make it to London for DMC world Supremacy due to no funding to get my flights, I had to crowd fund 5K for my flights to Krakow Poland for @idaworldofficial …”

Watch Jason Derulo’s ‘Tip Toe’ Video Feat. French Montana

Following the release of his creative lyric video last month, Jason Derulo has shared the official music video for his French Montana-assisted single, “Tip Toe.” The dancehall-influenced track was DJcity’s 4th most-downloaded song of November.

The choreography-filled visual shows Derulo and a troupe of dancers getting down in a rainforest and a snowy geisha house. Meanwhile, French Montana raps his verse in a gold-plated room filled with women covered in gold body paint.

“Tip Toe” is set to appear on Derulo’s forthcoming fifth studio album, 777. The track was also included in November’s edition of Trends.

Watch N.E.R.D’s ‘1000’ Video Feat. Future

N.E.R.D have unveiled an intense video for their new single “1000” featuring Future. Neither artists make an appearance. Instead, the visual features clips of American protests and a dance routine from dancer Mette Towley, who starred in the “Lemon” video. It also includes
an old monologue from Mike Tyson.

The track, which is currently No. 15 on DJcity’s Hot Box chart, is set to appear on N.E.R.D’s upcoming album, No_One Ever Really Dies.
