DJ Hects Drops ‘DJcity Podcast’ Latino Mix

DJ Hects, a mixer on Q100.5 FM in Las Vegas, has dropped a 30-minute Latin mix for the DJcity Podcast. The Ontario, California native’s set consists of reggaeton and moombahton, including ten DJcity exclusives. Hects is also a resident at O’Donovan’s Restaurant & Pub in Pomona.

K-Swizz at the 2018 IDA World DJ Championships
The IDA World DJ Championships went down in Kraków, Poland on Saturday, Dec. 8.
It was another big year for New Zealand’s DJ K-SWIZZ. The 15-year-old won the Technical category for the second year in a row and took the Show category as part of the duo Superbeast DJs with Japan’s DJ RENA. They became the youngest ever to win that category.
Poland’s Pan Jaras also won the Online Scratch Battle for the second year in a row, with Poland’s Keeper ET coming in second.

DJ Refresh Remixes Los Angeles Azules’ ‘Toma Que Toma’: DJcity Exclusive

DJcity in-house producer DJ Refresh had a breakout year in 2018. Close to a dozen of his edits and remixes appeared on DJcity’s monthly Top 50 charts and his work was also regularly featured on the Trends lists.
Now, Refresh returns with an energetic cumbia remix of legendary Mexican group Los Ángeles Azules‘ 2014 hit, “Toma Que Toma.” The San Diego native maintains the original horns and vocals while adding a new instrumental and chopped-up drop.
