On this week’s episode of Beatsource‘s The 20 Podcast, DJ Spider keeps it in the family and speaks with Robb McDaniels.

McDaniels is the CEO of Beatport and venture advisor at Dubai-based investment company TechInvest. Originally a DJ, McDaniels founded INgrooves in 2002, where he served as CEO until 2014. (INgrooves manages North American digital distribution for Universal Music Group, as well as thousands of indie artists and labels.) In 2017, McDaniels joined Beatport. He has led the company during a period of growth, which includes the launch of Beatsource (Beatport and DJcity‘s digital music service for open-format DJs).

Watch LeNERD’s ‘Bedroom Sessions’ Routine

DJcity Singapore team member LeNERD has dropped a creative open-format set for DJcityTV’s Bedroom Sessions. The 29-year-old turntablist’s performance includes wordplay, tone play, and scratching.

LeNERD is a resident at Zouk nightclub in Singapore, which has been voted one of DJ Mag’s top ten clubs in the world each year since 2010. He has opened for artists like Party Favor, Wuki, and more.

E-ONE won the Red Bull 3Style X Indonesia National Final on November 30, competing against FLAME, DJ Kevin Adam, DJ Style, DJ BART’O, and Tiosan.

E-ONE is an open-format DJ and vinyl enthusiast from Bandung , Indonesia. This is his first Red Bull 3Style national final win.

DinPei Wins Red Bull 3Style Taiwan Final

DinPei won the Red Bull 3Style X Taiwan National Final on November 29, competing against Jova, DJ DINDIN, DJ QuestionMark, Afuro George, and DJ T-Time.

DinPei is a DJ/producer from Taipei, Taiwan. It is his second Redbull 3Style national final win, the other being in 2016.

Puza won the Red Bull 3Style X Central Asia National Final on November 29, competing against Steppa-T, Kreshbeatz, DJ J-Watt, T-Raw, and DJ Jan-Kit.

Puza is an open-format DJ from Kazakhstan and the host of the Black Deluxe radio show. This is his first Red Bull 3Style national final win.
