DJcity Launches New Recommendation Feature, ‘myDJcity’
DJcity has added a new recommendation feature to its record pool to help subscribers discover songs based on their previous download habits. The technology is based on the same algorithm that Netflix, iTunes, and Amazon uses.
To access the recommendations, login to DJcity’s record pool and select “myDJcity” at the top right. You will then be taken to a page with a full list of your personalized recommendations. Your top recommendations can also be found on DJcity’s homepage and record pool pages.
Here are some tips to ensure that you receive accurate recommendations:
– Don’t share your account with other people.
– Be honest when rating tracks.
– Be selective with your downloads. Downloading every track in DJcity’s catalog will result in generic recommendations.
