Spotify’s Most-Streamed Artists, Songs, and Albums of 2018

Spotify has revealed its lists of the most-streamed artists, songs, and albums of 2018 on the platform.

With over 8.2 billion streams, Drake is not only the most-streamed artist in the world, but he’s also now the most-streamed artist ever on Spotify. Drizzy also had the most-streamed album and song with Scorpion and “God’s Plan.”

Spotify’s top-streamed female artist was Ariana Grande followed by Dua Lipa and Cardi B. Meanwhile, Post Malone scored two of the most-streamed songs with “rockstar” ft. 21 Savage at No. 3 and “Psycho” ft. Ty Dolla $ign at No. 4.

While hip-hop dominated Spotify’s lists, Latin music continued to grow. J Balvin, Ozuna, and Bad Bunny each landed in the top eight of the most-streamed artists list.

Ariana Grande has released the highly-anticipated video for her smash hit, “thank u, next.” The track, which was DJcity’s eighth most-downloaded song of November, currently sits at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100. It is Ariana’s highest-charting single to date.

The visual is an homage to popular teen movies Mean Girls, Bring It On, Legally Blonde, and 13 Going on 30.
