Today at DJcity we’re celebrating Throwback Thursday with a recent Boiler Room set by legendary hip-hop producer and 7″ encyclopedia, 45 King.
While known for producing his classic breakbeat “The 900 Number” and remixes for Gang Starr, Eric B. & Rakim, and Digital Underground, 45 King has also produced modern hits such as JAY Z’s “Hard Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem)” and Eminem’s “Stan.”
The New Jersey native’s hour-long set features a variety of hip-hop, soul, and funk classics, some of which contain famous samples.
