Grammy-nominated musician and producer Chilly Gonzales began playing piano at age three and is now a classically trained pianist. The Canadian is extremely versatile though and has worked with the likes of Daft Punk, Drake, and Boys Noize.

Last year, German radio station 1LIVE teamed up with Chilly for a YouTube series in which he analyzes why pop hits becomes hits. The series has seen him break down smashes such as Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky,” Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy,” and Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off.”

For the latest episode, Chilly examines why ILoveMakonnen’s hit “Tuesday” featuring Drake is so catchy. Watch above as he breaks down the song’s structure and chord progression.
