Watch Charlie Puth Explain How He Wrote and Produced ‘Attention’
Charlie Puth is riding high on the success of his hit single, “Attention.” The singer, songwriter, and producer recently invited Rolling Stone to his studio to show how he made the track.
In the video, Puth says that “Attention” started off as a sad piano ballad, but became a groovy pop song. He then breaks down the track in Pro Tools, showing the different instruments and vocal layering.
“Attention” is set to appear on Puth’s upcoming album, Voice Notes. It’s currently No. 15 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, having peaked at No. 5. It was also one of DJcity’s most downloaded songs of May.
