Grandtheft and Wuki Remix ‘Boasty’

Ahead of their show in Los Angeles on Friday, Grandtheft and Wuki have dropped a remix of Wiley, Stefflon Don, Sean Paul, and Idris Elba‘s dancehall anthem, “Boasty.” The duo gives even more energy to the track, adding 21 BPM, and additional percussion and samples.

The original version was released by Wiley in August and remixed by Stefflon, Paul, and Elba in January, peaking at No. 11 on the UK Singles chart.

Skratch School Announces ‘Boasty’ DJ Challenge

Skratch Bastid’s Skratch School has announced their “Boasty” DJ Challenge. The star-studded collab by Wiley, Stefflon Don, and Sean Paul features vocals from actor/DJ Idris Elba. It peaked at No. 11 on the UK Singles chart.

Competitors must record a video of them flipping the track in a creative, skillful way as they would in a club set. The winner will receive a pair of 12″ Serato control vinyl, a Red Bull Music 3Style “Play With Music” hat and sweater, and a Bastid’s BBQ apron.

Here’s how to enter:

– Download the tools here. Record a video using at least one part of “Boasty”, whether it’s the full song, the instrumental, or pieces of the acapella.
– Your entry must be at least 16 bars long (approx 37s), up to a max of 2 minutes.
– This challenge will be judged on musical creativity (50%) as well as technical skill and technique (50%). The goal here is to create a routine that works in the club, and showcases your skills.
– The contest is open until Friday, May 3 at midnight ET.

Watch Sean Paul’s ‘Shot & Wine’ Video Feat. Stefflon Don

Sean Paul has shared the video for his Stefflon Don-assisted dancehall single, “Shot & Wine.” The track was the No. 29 most-downloaded song of January on DJcity.

In the colorful visual, Sean and Stefflon Don dance and perform together in a neon-lit room.

Watch Ne-Yo’s ‘Push Back’ Video Feat. Bebe Rexha and Stefflon Don

Push Back

Ne-Yo has dropped a video for his dancehall-influenced single “Push Back” featuring Bebe Rexha and Stefflon Don. The track, which was produced by Stargate, is currently No. 7 on DJcity’s Hot Box after spending days atop the chart.

The choreographed video shows Ne-Yo, Bebe, and Stefflon with a group of dancers on a colorful set.

“Push Back” will appear on Ne-Yo’s upcoming album, Good Man, which is slated for a June 8 release. The project will also include “Another Love Song,” which was one of DJcity’s most downloaded tracks of June 2017.

Ne-Yo Teams With Bebe Rexha and Stefflon Don for New Single, ‘Push Back’

After a brief hiatus, Ne-Yo has returned with a radio-friendly single titled “Push Back.” The track, which blends dancehall and R&B, features singer Bebe Rexha and the UK’s Stefflon Don.

Produced by Grammy-winning duo Stargate, “Push Back” is expected to appear on Ne-Yo’s upcoming seventh studio album, Good Man. In February, he told Beats 1 radio that the project will feature the likes of 2 Chainz, PartyNextDoor, Eric Bellinger, and Romeo Santos.
