EarwaxXx Performs on Revolt TV


 
Here’s another one from the vaults: Las Vegas-based party rocker and turntablist EarwaxXx performing a routine for Revolt TV’s “1s and Tuesday” segment. His performance originally aired back in August and is now available to stream for the first time.
 
Known for his residencies at hot spots such as TAO, LAVO and The Bank, EarwaxXx’s performance on Revolt gave him an opportunity to showcase his turntablist abilities outside the club.

It’s been a long time coming but we finally have the footage of J. Espinosa’s performance on Revolt TV. Originally aired back in June, the Bay Area native rocked a three and a half minute routine of club-friendly beats coupled with skilled turntablism.

DJ Damage: From Local DJ to National TV Personality

DJ Damage
 
At only 22 years old, Philadelphia’s DJ Damage has already accomplished a lot in his career. Having started at Philly radio stations WHIP and 100.3 The Beat, Damage eventually moved to Wired 96.5 and DASH Radio’s LOUD where he currently hosts shows.
 
In 2013, Damage branched out from radio and joined Diddy’s innovative network, Revolt TV, where he currently co-hosts their daily show, Revolt Live. As part of his position, Damage works with DJcity every week to feature turntablists for their “1s and Tuesday” segment. The show has featured QBert, Jayceeoh, Four Color Zack, Chris Karns, Miles Medina and others.
 
During a recent interview with ThisIs50.com, Damage spoke about his career’s evolution and difficulties along the way. Despite missing out on an opportunity to host for BET, Damage kept pushing and eventually landed his position at Revolt.

Watch DJ Manwell Perform on Revolt TV


 
Los Angeles-based DJ Manwell was recently featured on Revolt TV’s “1s and Tuesday” segment. The Brooklyn native — who won the 2014 Los Angeles DMC Championship — put down three minutes of intense scratching and juggling over a couple of funky tracks. Manwell also spoke with the show’s co-host DJ Damage about his battle experience, his previous group, The Procussions, how he got into turntablism, and more.

Watch Teeko Perform on REVOLT’s ‘1s and Tuesday’


 
Teeko’s performance last week on REVOLT’s “1s and Tuesday” was truly one-of-a-kind. Joined by a member of his own electronic funk band B. Bravo, the San Francisco DJ/producer delivered three-and-a-half minutes of turntablism meshed with synthesizer funk. Props to Teeko for thinking outside the box and bringing a different vibe to the segment.
 
Last year, Teeko was featured in DJcity’s San Francisco edition of the “Cutting Room” featuring fellow Bay Area turntablists Shortkut, J. Espinosa, Miles Medina, and Primo.

Big Sean’s official DJ Mo Beatz was recently featured on REVOLT Live’s “1s and Tuesday.” The Detroit native put down a three-and-a-half minute routine which included club-friendly tracks accompanied by scratches and juggles.
