Eminem’s ‘Shake That’ Ft. Nate Dogg Receives Future House Remix From Tuner & Ill
Although polarizing, Tuner & Ill’s future house remix of Dr. Dre’s “The Next Episode” was one of the most downloaded tracks of March on DJcity. Now, about a month after its release, the Montreal duo has delivered another rework of a Nate Dogg-assisted hit, this time Eminem’s “Shake That.” The 125 BPM flip is similar to Tuner & Ill’s previous remixes, with a rolling bassline, stripped-down production, and prominent vocals. Dr. Dre’s “The Next Episode” has received numerous remixes over the years and the latest to catch our attention is from rising Canadian producers Tuner and Ill. The Montreal duo has cooked up a bouncy rework of the classic which they’ve labeled as “future bass.” However you categorize it, one thing is for sure, their remix combines elements of hip-hop and house and should be of particular interest to open-format DJs.
