Mixed In Key Releases Satellite Plugins 2.0 for Cross-Platform Music Collaboration

Music software developer Mixed In Key has recently released version 2.0 of their free Satellite Plugins. The plugin pack (made up of Satellite Sessions, Satellite Audio, and Satellite MIDI) allows music producers to collaborate between different digital audio workstations (DAWs) in real time, with one, for example, working in Ableton Live and another using FL Studio.

Producers invite each other to sessions using a code, which then allows them to share and tweak each others’ audio and MIDI tracks without the need to transfer stems or project files.

Satellite Plugins is a free download available through the ADSR website, with the rest of Mixed In Key’s music production plugins on sale until April 7. Watch the Satellite Plugins introductory video above.
