UK DJ/Producer DEAN-E-G Breaks Down His Remix of Yungen’s ‘Bestie’

Rising DJ/producer DEAN-E-G has broken down his remix of Yungen and Yxng Bane‘s dancehall and R&B-influenced single, “Bestie.” The original track was one of DJcity UK’s most downloaded songs of June.

A native of London, DEAN currently serves as an exclusive remix contributor to DJcity. His tracks, which are of the house variety, have been supported by some of the UK’s top radio stations, including BBC Radio 1, KISS FM, and Capital XTRA. DEAN burst onto the scene in 2015 when he won DJcity’s remix contest for D.R.A.M.’s “Cha Cha.”

“Bestie” peaked at No. 10 on the UK Singles Chart, becoming Yungen and Yxng Bane’s highest-charting song. The track was certified silver in September.

Watch DEAN-E-G’s ‘Bedroom Sessions’ Routine

DEAN-E-G, the winner of DJcity’s remix contest for D.R.A.M.’s “Cha Cha,” has put down a routine for DJcityTV’s Bedroom Sessions. A native of London, DEAN has received support from the UK’s top radio stations, BBC Radio 1, BBC 1Xtra, Kiss FM, and Capital XTRA.

D.R.A.M. ‘Cha Cha’ Remix Contest Winner Announced

Congratulations to London’s Dean-E-G for winning our D.R.A.M. “Cha Cha” remix contest! His deep house rework was just selected by D.R.A.M. out of 10 finalists.
 
Dean-E-G’s remixes have been played on leading English radio stations like KISS 100 FM, BBC Radio 1Xtra, and Capital XTRA.
 
For winning, Dean-E-G will receive support from Atlantic Records, a Rane TTM57mkII mixer, two VIP tickets to one of D.R.A.M.’s concerts, and an opportunity to DJ the opening set at one of D.R.A.M.’s concerts.
