Watch Revolt’s Holy Ship! Documentary

Ever wondered what it’s like to party on the Holy Ship! festival cruise? Thanks to Revolt, those who’ve been itching to set sail in the Caribbean can now watch a documentary about this year’s event.
 
The network’s 30-minute video includes extensive interview and performance footage of artists such as A-Trak, Flume, Boys Noize, RL Grime, Laidback Luke, Disclosure and many more. The documentary also follows Holy Ship!’s founder Destructo as he hangs with artists and partygoers, all while providing commentary.
 
We’re not big fans of cruises, but after watching this video and talking with people who’ve attended Holy Ship!, we’ll definitely consider partaking in next year’s shenanigans.

Reggaeton singer Nicky Jam has released a music video for “El Perdón” — his smash single featuring Enrique Iglesias. The track is currently number one on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart and was recently remixed by Pitbull. DJcity Featured in DJ Jazzy Jeff’s ‘Vinyl Destination’

About a year ago, DJ Jazzy Jeff visited DJcity and put down an epic performance for our “MikiDz Show.” The legend delivered over an hour of classic and new music, along with an insightful interview with the show’s hosts, MikiWAR and Dainjazone. Thousands of fans from around the world watched the live stream, which has since received over 200,000 plays.
 
Today, Jeff premiered the third season of his “Vinyl Destination” series, and part of it documents his experience at DJcity. The episode also chronicles last year’s “Hip-Hop Legends” concert in New York City, which included performances by The Roots, Run DMC, Busta Rhymes, De La Soul, and others.
 
Like previous episodes, this one includes plenty of behind-the-scenes footage of Jeff and his crew, along with a few jokes and special cameos. The part about DJcity starts at around the 11-minute mark. Watch it below.

Tyga Releases Video for Kanye-Produced ’40 Mill’


 
Tyga is beefing with his label YMCMB, but that hasn’t slowed him down. Last month, the Los Angeles rapper dropped his highly-anticipated album with Chris Brown and today he delivered visuals for the latest single off his forthcoming album, The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty. The track was produced by Kanye West and his frequent collaborator, Mike Dean.

Shaggy’s ‘Boombastic’ Receives Trap Remix From Johnny Roxx and CRVFTSMEN


 
In 1995, Jamaican singer Shaggy crossed over into the US market with his chart-topping single, “Boombastic.” The reggae fusion track has remained a favorite throughout the years, and now it’s received a trap remix from Switzerland’s Johnny Roxx and Boston’s CRVFTSMEN. Their 75 BPM rework adds a brand new instrumental under Shaggy’s recognizable vocals, which are chopped quite nicely. Stream above and download below.
