Producer Rvssian Talks Upcoming Migos and Bad Bunny Collab, Producing ‘Krippy Kush’

Rvssian

Jamaican producer and singer Rvssian recently sat down for an interview with DJ Lechero from Power 106’s The Cruz Show.

Born in Kingston but based in Miami, Rvssian is best known for producing Farruko and Bad Bunny‘s Latin trap hit, “Krippy Kush.” The multi-platinum selling producer hasn’t always worked in Latin music, however. He got his start in dancehall in 2010, working extensively with Jamaica’s Vybz Kartel and Konshens. It wasn’t until 2014 that he crossed over, bringing together Sean Paul and Farruko for a bilingual track called “Passion Whine.” The 27-year-old has since become one of the most sought-after producers in the genre.

During the interview, Rvssian reveals that he’s working on two big collaborations: one with Migos and Bad Bunny, and another with J Balvin and Farruko. He also discusses being an English-speaking producer in a Spanish genre, among other topics.

Kronic & Krunk!

Australian duo Kronic & Krunk! have teamed with Colombian singer Martina La Peligrosa, Dominican rapper Jenn Morel, and American DJ/producer Damaged Goods for a global, reggaeton-influenced single, “Peligrosa.”

On “Peligrosa,” which translates to “dangerous,” Jenn and Martina talk about how dangerous they are with their dance moves. The track marks Krunk! and Damaged Goods’ first venture into Latin music, while Kronic produced Pitbull and Lil Jon‘s 2016 single, “La Vida Es Una.”

Kronic tells us:

“Krunk! and I had been wanting do another collaboration for a while now! I’d been playing Jenn’s ‘Ponteme‘ in my sets after seeing it on the pool, and I thought her energy and style would work well alongside the beat. So we got together and had her vocals nailed down in a matter of hours. We reached out to Martina to get involved, and it was a wrap!”

Watch Sean Paul and David Guetta’s ‘Mad Love’ Video Feat. Becky G

Sean Paul

Sean Paul and David Guetta have shared a colorful video for their Becky G-assisted single, “Mad Love.” The track was DJcity’s No. 5 most-downloaded song of February.

The visual finds Sean and Becky sharing some dance moves in a neon-lit room. Guetta hangs out alone in a room next door before eventually joining the party.

“Mad Love,” which was co-written by Shakira, is believed to be a single from Sean’s forthcoming seventh studio album.

Lil Dicky

Lil Dicky has achieved fame thanks to anthems like “Save Dat Money” and “Just a Lil’ Thick,” but sometimes the comedic rapper wishes he had more swag. So, on his new track and video, Dicky swaps bodies with Chris Brown for a day to see what it’s like.

Dicky loves every moment of the experience: the money, fame, and women. Breezy, on the other hand, isn’t exactly thrilled.
