Kidd Spin Delivers ‘DJcity Podcast’ Mix

DJ Aristocat, one half of the duo the Tall Boys, has dropped a new mix titled, A Reminder. The hour-long, open-format set is full of his own unreleased remixes and bootlegs.

In 2013, Aristocat was nominated for “Remixer of the Year” by the Global Spin Awards.

DJ Image Delivers ‘DJcity Podcast’ Latino Mix

DJ Image, a mixer at Chicago’s Latino Mix 93.5 FM, has delivered an energetic Latin mix for the DJcity Podcast. His 30-minute set consists of reggaeton, moombahton, and Latin-influenced dance music, including six DJcity exclusives.

Image was a finalist in DJcity, SiriusXM, and Pitbull’s Globalization mixer contest in September 2017. He’s currently a resident at Nacional 27, Park Tavern, ESTATE Ultra Bar, and the Trophy Room in Chicago.

Watch Alesso Explain How He Produced ‘REMEDY’

Swedish DJ/producer Alesso dropped his catchy, dancehall-influenced single “REMEDY” in late August. The song has since accumulated over 56 million streams on Spotify and more than 40 million views on YouTube.

Now, the 27-year-old has explained how he produced the track on the latest episode of Genius’ Deconstructed.

Alesso begins by discussing his inspiration for the track and then breaks down its elements in Logic Pro X.

DJ EFN, co-host of the Drink Champs podcast with N.O.R.E., has spent decades as an ambassador of hip-hop culture. EFN got his start making mixtapes in Miami in the early ’90s. He then established Crazy Hood Productions, a hip-hop crew and multifaceted entertainment company.

In 2016, EFN and veteran rapper N.O.R.E. started Drink Champs, a weekly podcast where they host casual interviews with hip-hop’s biggest names. It has become one of the most popular music podcasts in the world.

On this episode of A Moment With, EFN talks about launching Drinks Champs with N.O.R.E., building a career off of mixtapes, his mission to unite people around the world through hip-hop, and more.
