Ableton Releases Live 10.1 Public Beta

Ableton has released the public beta of Live 10.1, the latest update to their popular music production and performance software. The update will feature workflow improvements, device enhancements, and more.

Upgrades to Live’s workflow include a resizeable arrangement overview window, pinch zooming, and streamlined keyboard shortcuts. The EQ, delay, and wavetable devices have also been enhanced, and the program will feature VST3 plug-in support.

The Live 10.1 release date has not been announced, but the beta is currently available to all Live 10 owners.

In December, DJcity and DJ/producer Vice announced that they were teaming up to launch a new conference, the Beyond the Music Retreat. The conference is dedicated to helping DJs from around the world take their careers to a higher level.

The retreat, which will take place at a resort in Denver, Colorado from March 4 to 6, will offer a variety of panel discussions with some of the brightest minds in the industry.

The panelists include A-Trak, Miles Medina, DJ Spider, Kirill Was Here, DJ Echo, and Yoni Goldberg of dGi Management. More will be announced soon.
