Beatsource, a joint venture between DJcity and Beatport, has launched the public beta of its music streaming service for open-format DJs, Beatsource LINK.
The service makes Beatsource’s extensive catalog of tracks and curated playlists available to stream directly into DJ performance software. Beatsource’s patented offline mode is available in premium subscriptions, which enable DJs to perform without an internet connection.
Beatsource LINK’s first performance software integration is with Pioneer DJ’s rekordbox 6.0.1. More integrations will be rolled out this year.
The service is available in three tiers: LINK at $9.99 a month, LINK Pro at $19.99 a month, and LINK Pro+ at $29.99 a month. Pro and Pro+ include offline mode, in which DJs can store up to 50 or 100 tracks in a locker, respectively.

Beatsource LINK has already been trialed by several top DJs such as A-Trak, White Shadow, and MistaJam.
MistaJam says:
“I’m very excited to be able to play with Beatsource LINK! This will be an awesome tool for any DJ’s arsenal, no matter what your skill level. Being able to play nearly any track I can think of directly from rekordbox is a huge benefit, making it faster than ever before to access this huge library of music.”
The public beta of Beatsource LINK is now open to everyone. Sign up for a 30-day free trial here.
