We’ve been keeping our eye on Brenmar ever since we saw him perform at Los Angeles’ Sound Nightclub in early 2013. The Chicago-bred DJ/producer has delivered plenty of bass-infused releases since then, including his new Award EP on Fool’s Gold Records.
One of the project’s standout tracks is “Hula Hoop,” a trap and Jersey club-influenced heater which was featured in recent mixes by Diplo and A-Trak. Stream and download below:

Nick Catchdubs Remixes Dej Loaf’s ‘Try Me’
Fool’s Gold co-founder Nick Catchdubs does more than help run one of the hottest independent labels in the world. The New York native has held it down as a DJ for years and also produces. For his latest remix, Catchdubs puts a new spin on Def Loaf’s street anthem, “Try Me,” flipping it from 85 BPM to a Jersey Club friendly 132. The original is currently the #13 most-Shazamed track in the US, by the way.
