Listen to Eskei83’s Mix for BBC Radio 1Xtra

On Friday, Germany’s ESKEI83 put down a 26-minute mix for Charlie Sloth’s BBC Radio 1Xtra show. The Red Bull Thre3style World Champion’s set featured a variety of bass-heavy tracks, including some of his own productions. Of course, ESKEI couldn’t drop a mix without flexing his world-class turntablism skills, so there’s plenty of cutting sprinkled throughout, too.

Eskei83 Drops 60-Minute Mix for Serato

Few DJs are able to craft both technically impressive and party rocking mixes. In our experience, it’s usually one or the other. For the latest episode of SeratoCast, this year’s Red Bull Thre3style World Champion Eskei83 achieves that balance once again with a 60-minute mix packed with hard hitting beats, creative blends and skilled turntablism. His SeratoCast comes a month after winning the Thre3style crown in Baku, Azerbaijan.

You might’ve already heard the audio but now you can watch the video of Eskei83’s winning set from the 2014 Red Bull Thre3style World Finals.
 
The Dresden, Germany native took the crown on September 6 in Baku, Azerbaijan where he went up against five other DJs: Flip (Ireland), Trayze (USA), Twist (Azerbaijan), Cinara (Brazil), and Carlo Atendido (Philippines).
 
Eskei83, who’s part of DJcity’s recently launched German team, came in at third place at last year’s world finals.

Eskei83’s Winning Set from the 2014 Red Bull Thre3style World Finals

Germany’s Eskei83 has been crowned the 2014 Red Bull Thre3style World Champion — following a week of battles in Baku, Azerbaijan.
 
The DJcity Germany team member went up against Flip (Ireland), Trayze (USA), Twist (Azerbaijan), Cinara (Brazil), and Carlo Atendido (Philippines) at the final battle on September 6.
 
Eskei, who came in third place at the 2013 finals, was favored by many to win this year’s battle. His winning set featured hard-hitting beats, creative tone play and his signature reggae influences. Listen below:

Eskei83’s Winning Set From Thre3style German Finals

It’s official: DJcity’s German team member ESKEI83 will be competing in the 2014 Red Bull Thre3style World Finals in a couple weeks. The Dresden-based party rocker and turntablist took his country’s crown this weekend during the German National Finals in Munich.
 
Those who weren’t in attendance can now hear ESKEI’s impressive 15 minute set which contained everything from Rihanna and Johnny Cash to TGHNT and Shabba Ranks, along with some hilarious (and dope) tone play which can be heard towards the end.
