Ed Sheeran Covers Fetty Wap’s ‘Trap Queen’


 
Ed Sheeran has an uncanny ability to transform hip-hop and R&B songs with his vocals and acoustic guitar. Over the last year, he’s reworked club anthems such as Beyonce’s “Drunk in Love,” Ty Dolla $ign’s “Paranoid” and O.T. Genasis’ “Coco” into completely different songs.
 
For his latest cover, Sheeran takes on one of the biggest raps singles in the world: Fetty Wap’s “Trap Queen.” Watch above as Sheeran performs his impressive rendition on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” with backing from The Roots.

‘Uptown Funk’ Sung in Cartoon Voices


 
Once a song becomes a hit, it’s only a matter of time until numerous cover versions pop up on YouTube. This new take on Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk” is something different, though. Watch above as YouTuber Mikey Bolts sings the funky smash in multiple cartoon voices, including characters from “Family Guy,” “King of the Hill” and “American Dad.”

Ed Sheeran Covers O.T. Genasis’ ‘CoCo’


 
A few months back, we posted a video of Ed Sheeran covering Ty Dolla $ign’s “Paranoid” at the BBC Radio 1Xtra studio. Now, the English crooner is back with another acoustic cover, this time taking on O.T. Genasis’ “CoCo.” Yup, you read that right.

Fifth Harmony Covers Mark Ronson’s ‘Uptown Funk’


 
Female pop group Fifth Harmony have announced their upcoming tour by covering Mark Ronson’s hit featuring Bruno Mars, “Uptown Funk.”
 
In a video posted to their YouTube channel, the ladies of 5H are joined by tourmates Jacob Whitesides, Jasmine V and Mahogany Lox. Some might remember Jasmine, who dropped a track featuring Kendrick Lamar last summer.
 
“Uptown Funk” is currently number one on Billboard’s Hot 100 and the third most Shazamed song in the world.

Lorde Covers Jeremih’s ‘Don’t Tell ‘Em’


 
Lorde recently stopped by the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge to perform a cover of Jeremih’s “Don’t Tell ‘Em.” The New Zealand songstress sang the DJ Mustard-produced hit alongside a drummer and keyboardist, taking it into a completely new direction.
 
Released on DJcity in May, “Don’t Tell ‘Em” continues to receive extensive radio and club play, and is currently the 13th most-Shazamed song in the world.
