Splice Launches ‘World’s Largest Browsable Database of Sounds’

Splice Sounds

Since 2013, Splice has aimed to revolutionize music production with their cloud-based collaborative platform. So far, they’ve amassed over 160,000 users and hosted projects for artists like Tiesto, KSHMR, DallasK, Laidback Luke, and Henry Fong.

Today, the New York startup furthered its mission by launching “Splice Sounds,” a subscription service that provides access to the “world’s largest browsable database of sounds.”

Splice Sounds enables producers to discover, download and organize samples and loops with seamless integration into DAWs. Their library contains over 500,000 royalty-free sounds from various providers, including their flagship partner, Loopmasters.

There are two monthly plans available: a $7.99 level with 100 download credits and a $13.99 level with 300 download credits. Both include unlimited browsing and auditioning.
