Latin Prince Drops Cinco de Mayo-Inspired ‘Friday Fix’
As some of you may know, DJcity’s East Coast Director Latin Prince has curated our “Friday Fix” series for over a year. The industry veteran has invited some of the region’s most talented DJs to drop mixes for the podcast, and today, he’s handled the duty himself for the first time. LP’s 30-minute mix comes within a week of Cinco de Mayo, and as such, includes plenty of Latin vibes, along with a couple hip-hop and EDM tracks.

Deorro & Chris Brown Release ‘Five More Hours’ Video
Whether you’re a fan or not, Deorro and Chris Brown’s “Five More Hours” has received over two million SoundCloud plays since March. It was also the most downloaded track on DJcity of that month. Today, the two superstars continue the ride with an official video, which sees Deorro driving a party bus packed with babes.

Alvaro and Wiwek Team Up for New Track, ‘Fire’
The Netherlands has no shortage of talent and two of our favorite DJ/producers from the country, Alvaro and Wiwek, have teamed up on a new track called “Fire.” The aptly titled song is dark electro house banger with plenty of energy to get the dance floor jumping. Stream the Dim Mak-released single above and download it below.

Instagram Launches Dedicated Music Channel

Instagram is the preferred platform to connect with fans by many musicians. The company recognizes this and also has a passion for music, so today they launched a dedicated account @music to share sounds from around the globe.
Founder and CEO Kevin Systrom wrote:
“Each week, we’ll take a look at the musical experience on Instagram. That means showing you a different side of artists you know and love, like Questlove (@questlove), and introducing you to up-and-coming talents from around the world, like Tricot (@ikkyu193). It means highlighting music photographers, album illustrators, instrument makers and, of course, fans. In the Instagram tradition, we will also welcome community participation with a new, music-themed monthly hashtag project.”
Instagram’s official account, which showcases content from its users, currently boasts 65 million followers. The company’s @music account has already amassed over 50,000 since its creation yesterday.
