HECNO Drops ‘DJcity Podcast’ Mix

Phoenix, Arizona-based HECNO has delivered a vibey, upbeat mix for the DJcity Podcast. His half-hour set seamlessly blends Latin, hip-hop, Afrobeats, and more.

HECNO draws on his Dominican roots to infuse a Latin twist into his open-format musical style. “I’m on a mission to make the world dance,” HECNO says, and his wide range of musical influences combined with a high-energy mixing style do just that.

At DJcity, we are constantly working on new ways to improve our website in order to help our subscribers get the most from our service. We are excited to announce our new and improved audio player which allows users to intuitively discover and preview music on our record pool.

New audio player features:

• New autoplay feature for improved discovery – songs are automatically added to the player queue for continuous previewing of music.

• For example, when you play a song from the most popular list or monthly charts, all the songs in that list are automatically queued to listen to in the preview player after the current song ends.

• New keyboard shortcuts for improved workflow – quickly play/pause, seek forward/backward, or jump to the next/previous track with simple keystrokes.

• New volume control for customized volume levels.

• Optimized to work seamlessly with our new “download all” feature.

Atlanta’s Robbie Wilde (thatDEAFdj) Delivers Fast-Paced Routine for DJcityTV’s ‘Bedroom Sessions’

Atlanta-based turntablist Robbie Wilde, a.k.a. thatDeafDJ, has delivered a fast-paced wordplay routine for DJcityTV’s Bedroom Sessions.

Despite having almost complete hearing loss, Wilde has excelled as both a turntablist and open-format DJ. He first made waves in the New York/New Jersey club scene in the early 2000s before doing national tours at schools and universities for the deaf community. He has performed for high-profile clients and events like Warner Brothers, Paramount, the NBA, New York Fashion Week, and more.
