Kiesza Inspires Artists to Find Their Own Sound
The future looks bright for rising Canadian singer-songwriter Kiesza. Her break-out dance hit “Hideaway” has received extensive club and radio play since dropping in spring, and a live recording of her collaboration with Diplo and Skrillex’s group Jack U has garnered over 800k SoundCloud plays in less than a week.
As she continues to gain fans around the world, the GRAMMYs recently sat down with Kiesza to discuss the recording process behind “Hideaway,” her musical influences, what the expect from her upcoming debut album, and more.
