J. Espinosa’s Winning 2015 Thre3style Regional Set

Last Thursday, San Francisco party rocker and turntablist J. Espinosa won the Red Bull Thre3style Regional Qualifier in Eugene, Oregon. Espinosa, who was previously featured in DJcityTV’s “Cutting Room” series, delivered an energetic routine packed with bass-heavy tracks and throwbacks. The Bay Area native’s turntablist skills were also on full display, with plenty of scratching and juggling placed throughout.
 
The battle included the Bay Area’s DJ Tony Tone, Seattle’s DJ Supagi and DJ Vega and Los Angeles’ DJ Dope-e.
