Disclosure’s Debut & Genre-bending “Essential Mix”

This weekend, English electronic music duo Disclosure dropped an unforgettable “Essential Mix” debut that’s making waves across the web.

Aside from being one of the hottest duos in dance music, Disclosure’s mix for BBC Radio 1 features their garage sound along with hip-hop joints from artists such as Slum Village, Q-Tip, Gang Starr, Jaylib and more.

As an open-format record pool, we’re pleased to see genre-bending mixes from leading DJs and look forward to more. Mixes like this are further proof that genres are blending and music is becoming less segregated.
