Denon DJ Announces Serato DVS Interface

Denon DS1

There’s a lot of news coming out of NAMM 2015 today and Denon’s new DS1 product is particularly intriguing. For the first time ever, a company other than Rane will be making an external audio interface for Serato DJ.

According to Serato’s website, Denon’s DS1 is similar in size to a smartphone and supports the use of Serato NoiseMap Control Vinyl or CDs with any mixer. It has a high-quality 24-bit sound card for studio grade audio and support for 44.1, 48 and 96kHz sample rates.

Other features include:

– 2 sets of stereo RCA inputs and outputs
– Dedicated grounding post for turntable use
– Rugged, all-metal construction
– Single USB 2.0 connection to computer

The DS1 is expected to hit stores in Spring 2015 with a suggested retail price of $299.99.

It will come with two Serato Control Vinyl records and CDs along with RCA and USB cables.
