Kanye West debuts two new songs on SNL [Video]

Following the announcement of his controversial new album title, Yeezus, Kanye performed two tracks from the album on Saturday Night Live’s season finale. “Black Skinhead” and “New Slaves” are a departure from his previous work and might be the most experimental we’ve ever heard from him.

Yeezus is rumored to feature a variety of guests including: Daft Punk, 2 Chainz, Odd Future, Chief Keef and Skrillex. It’s been said that rising trap producer and recent G.O.O.D. Music signee Hudson Mohawke co-produced “New Slaves”. The album is slated for a June 18 release.

Will.i.am on New Britney Spears Album: ‘We Start Next Week’

After only a couple weeks since dropping his latest studio album #willpower, Will.i.am has announced that the recording of Britney Spears’s upcoming eighth studio album will start next week. Will.iam is executive producing the project and also revealed that he’s been spending time and “bonding” with Britney in preparation of the recording process.

Will.i.am recently told Billboard, “Before we even start we’ve had these juicy sessions, where we’ve been bonding, building the trust and comfort. I’ve never worked like this before – not even the Peas.”

We’re not sure if it’s a taste of things to come but Spears is featured on Will.i.am’s massive club hit “Scream & Shout”, the second single from #willpower, a track that’s seen numerous remixes and extensive radio, and club play.

MikiDz Show x J.Rocc [Video]

No words can adequately describe J.Rocc’s set on the MikiDz Show this Monday. In his typical fashion, The World Famous Beat Junkie mixed acapellas, remixes, instrumentals and originals in ways we’ve never heard. After a 90 minute journey through hip hop, funk, reggae and more, J.Rocc spoke his mind on topics including Kendrick Lamar, performing overseas, working with J Dilla and more. We might also add that J.Rocc displayed some badass dance moves that were equally as entertaining as his set.

Shouts to Serato, Rhettmatic, A-Rock, Shortkut, Kid Cut Up, Morse Code, Scene, Fourcolorzack, DJ MoBeatz and everyone else who tuned in.
