DJCJ Drops Bass-Heavy Mix for the DJcity Podcast

As an open-format DJ who plays at Hollywood’s hottest clubs and co-founder of the forward-thinking Word Presents party, DJCJ is known for delivering energetic and genre-defying sets.
 
His third mix for the DJcity Podcast reflects that approach, as it features 19 new trap, twerk, and house bangers, some of which are remixes of current hip-hop and R&B hits. It also includes his latest remix.

After teasing it last week, Jayceeoh has released the long-awaited sixth volume of his Super 7 mix series.
 
The project, which has been released in partnership with DJcity, features bounce master TJR and some of today’s most influential bass music producer/DJs: Party Favor, NGHTMRE, Lookas, TWRK, and Tropkillaz.
 
“The art of DJing is about being creative and having a style [that’s] unique to yourself,” TJR said. “I love to scratch and play bouncy fun music so that’s the flavor I provided for this project.”
 
NGHTMRE added: “I was honored when I heard [about] all the other guys participating in this volume. I’ve got nothing but respect and love for all of these dudes!”

Watch Mr Viktor’s ‘Ivory Remixes’ Routine


 
Though best known for being a member of the 2013 and 2014 DMC World Team Champions 9 O’clock, France’s Mr Viktor is also a talented producer and has released two EPs this year.
 
Above is a video of him performing a portion of his latest mix for Rider Radio. Four of the tracks in the set are from his latest EP, Ivory (Remixes).

The World’s Highest-Paid EDM DJs of 2015

Forbes has released their annual “Electronic Cash Kings” list, which ranks the highest-paid DJs in dance music. Not surprisingly, Calvin Harris has once again topped it with an estimated income of $66 million.
 
It should be noted that most of the DJs on the list have ranked in previous years, except for two notable additions: Diplo and Martin Garrix.
 
According to Forbes, “earnings estimates include income from live shows, endorsements, merchandise sales, recorded music sales and external business ventures. Sources include Nielsen, Songkick, Pollstar, RIAA, promoters, managers, lawyers and some of the artists themselves.”
