Tommy Boy Tracks Now Available on DJcity

Tommy Boy

When people to talk about influential hip-hop record labels, Tommy Boy Music is often mentioned. Founded in 1981 by Tom Silverman, Tommy Boy helped launch the careers of legendary artists like Afrika Bambaataa, De La Soul, Naughty by Nature, House of Pain, Queen Latifah, and Digital Underground.

The label is also credited with introducing genres such as electronic dance music, Latin freestyle, and Latin hip-hop to mainstream audiences.

Many of Tommy Boy’s tracks were, and still are, popular with DJs. That is why DJcity has teamed with the label to make available its songs on our service for the first time. The selection includes both classics and lesser-known favorites.
