Tiesto Says Astrology Influences DJ Success
Does astrology have an influence on your success as a DJ? The 3rd highest-earning DJ in the world thinks so.
During a conversation with Sydney Morning Herald, Dutch superstar Tiesto said he believes there’s a specific astrological sign that is more likely to succeed as a DJ:
“I feel like a lot of DJs are the same star sign as I am, I think it has something to do with that . . . The top 10 DJs, basically all of them are Capricorns. Calvin Harris and I are born on the same day, then there’s Hardwell, Deadmau5, Skrillex, all Capricorns, crazy, right?”
Why Capricorns though? Tiesto said their typical traits — down-to-earth, hardworking, perfectionism, loyalty — are all in the make-up of a good DJ. It’s also believed that Capricorns are natural leaders.
We still believe talent and hard work are the most important factors in success but Tiesto’s observation is interesting nevertheless. Is it a coincidence that the DJs mentioned share the same sign or is Tiesto on to something? Let us know what you think.
